What is the difference between water extraction and water removal?
From the first moisture reading, water removal is the whole job of getting water out of a building, including pumping, extraction, tear out and drying.
Is extraction the same as drying?
For the written restoration scope, no, and mixing them up is the most common mistake we see. During our assessment, extraction physically pulls out liquid water in hours.
Can I just rent a carpet cleaner or use a shop vac?

How much moisture can you actually remove?
